A photographic artist filled with passion and
poignancy, award winning photographer Dawn Laureen has built herself
a powerful reputation in the world of photography. For over a
decade she has successfully captured the essence of artists and
documented special events thereby creating a formidable catalogue
of artistic expression.
Amongst her many endeavors, Ms. Laureen has served
as staff photographer for major music publications including BAM
magazine; she was the official house photographer for world renown
music venue House of Blues; and acted as personal photographer
for music legend James Brown.
Ms. Laureen has covered professional and personal
perspectives of celluloid icons and artists. Her images have been
published in numerous global publications including Los Angeles
Magazine, Rolling Stone, Transworld Surf, Dert!, Musikexpress,
Hits, and Music Connection to name a few. Her images of Billy
Idol, Angus Young, Johnny Thunders, David Bowie and Iggy Pop are,
currently, on exhibit in Hollywood, California.
